The Coronado repeater on 147.180 was approved as an update. Notify Ted Hamm, W6GMQ.
The Hilltop Amateur Radio Club in San Diego was granted a one year test on 147.660/147.060.
The request for 147.075 by Benigno Salmaron, KN6RW, was discussed. The committee decided that we should ask them for a complete system diagram before granting a test, including all links.
Don Moberly was not able to contact people regarding the Crescenta Valley interference. A guest stated that Beach Cities was not the current problem, but a repeater in Pomona was. Don will follow up.
The RFC from Yucca Valley, N6GWD, on 146.115 was approved for a one year test.
The RFC from Santa Barbara, KD6REG, on 147.735 was approved for a one year test. The secretary was asked to send not only co-channel but adjacent channel users a notice.
The Fallbrook Club RFC on 146.175 was given a one year test.
An RFC for 146.130/146.730 in Yucca Valley, N6GWD, was discussed and a motion was made and passed to table the item and let Larry Bryant, the Chairman of TASMA, handle it.
The RFC for a reactivated repeater on 146.280/146.880 in the Imperial Valley, sent in by Larry Smith, WA6LAW, only had one copy and needs a system diagram and a site map. The secretary will so advise.
The RFC from WB6BGK, on 146.750/350 was considered an update and was approved as submitted.
A letter will be sent asking who is the owner of a repeater in Thousand Oaks on 146.250/950 with the call sign K6AER. This item was tabled. We were told at the meeting that Michael S. Higgins, K6AER has moved to Oregon. Write to Bob Paull, KK6UE.
The original RFC was sent in, current forms to follow on a repeater in La Mesa on 144.64/145.24, WA6HYQ. The committee approved a 30 day test pending updated paperwork.
A letter will be sent to WA6DQK regarding 145.21 stating that we can't coordinate him on that frequency since it is uncoordinated. He was coordinated for 145.200-. Karl stated that it looks like he's using 146.10 for an input instead of 144.21 or 144.200.
The APRS request for 144.39 was discussed and two people were appointed to be members of a Band Plan Committee, Jim Keck N6HNY, and Bill Smith, KB6MCU. The subject will be on the next agenda.
