  1. The meeting was called to order by Bob NO6B at 11:00 AM.
  2. Introduction of members and guests.
  3. Previous Meeting Minutes:
    1. Meeting of April 3, 2004 Canceled, no quorum.
    2. Meeting of Dec. 6, 2003 Not available.
      Minutes recorded by Ted N6ZZK and offered by Gary W6NVY will be placed on the Web Site, approval tabled for now.
  4. Treasurer Report by Mike WW6MM. The Financial report in the July 2004 News Letter was reviewed. The mailed News Letter is limited to 5 sheets which is 10 pages to qualify for minimal First Class Postage. Membership as of today August 14 is 101.
  5. Correspondence summary; 1,2,1 of membership verses 1,2.
  6. General comment.
    1. Gary W6NVY questioned the membership of the tech committee does 2 members make for a quorum.
    2. W6NVY challenges W6KGB and KC6ZQR as voting members of the Technical committee.
  7. Committee reports:
    1. Howard KG6GI presented status of data base.
    2. Lists by Alex and Jim are different recommend send E-Mail and validate the list by E-Mail bounce. Get Jim the current E-Mail list for the Reflector.
    3. Technical committee meeting validation. May 22, 2004 meeting had 2 Technical Committee members, is that a quorum? Board to review. The July 22, 2004 had a quorum.
  8. New Business an Open Forum
    1. Gary W6NVY Comments on the subject to get more members suggests new technical information on Repeaters.
    2. Skip WB6YMH suggested have meeting connected with other events, like a swap meet or ham convention.
    3. Gary W6NVY offered to get presenters for the December 11 General Meeting, and will submit suggestions. Will also investigate location for meeting.
    4. Richard N6CIZ Offered to put out information on TASMA at Swap meets and suggested that TASMA have a booth.
  9. Meeting Adjourned at 12:00 PM. Motion by Gary W6NVY and second by Howard KG6GI.
