Database Anomalies Review:
Bob (NO6B) agreed to go through prior minutes with respect to the list of database anomalies shown in the Agenda for the meeting of 27 March 2004 and recommend a disposition of each.
The results of his review are shown below between square brackets (i.e. […]). Bob’s, Matt’s and Alex’s comments are shown with their names underlined (i.e. [Bob - …].
This may be significant because Hi-pass is (I believe) similar in coverage to Mt. Laguna. On this one I suggest we inquire with Alex for clarification.]
[Matt - When looking at the entry for Hi-Pass, there were some things that didn't make sense in the contact info areas. If you compare entries 440 & 445, you'll see what I mean. Something was apparently crossed-up somewhere. Pending Alex's clarification, the thing to do is probably to invalidate the Toro Peak entry, re-name & re-fill the Hi-Pass entry with the Mt Laguna information.
For all of the other items, save 147.765/WB6ZTW, it's my opinion that we should request updated paperwork from each. We can then bestow final coordination if there are no interference issues and the systems are actually on the air.]
[Alex - We got tired of the annual drive to Toro to replace broken parts, so we moved the repeater to Mount Laguna / Stephenson Peak. Same configuration, etc, just a new location. That would be 147.990- CTCSS 156.7
There is also a 147.990- repeater (CTCSS 67.0) on Hi-Pass. Hi-Pass is near the Mexican border and the signal is shielded to the north. It has mostly an east / west path. The Hi-Pass coverage is not as good as Laguna. The Hi-Pass location is in far southeast San Diego County near the community of Boulevard. It is south of Interstate 8 about 15 miles west of the San Diego / Imperial county line.]
