Record of Meeting:
TASMA Chairman, Bob Dengler Called the meeting to order at 1:25 pm, at the Marie Callender’s Restaurant. The meeting was conducted in accordance with the agenda (See Attachment A).

1. Bob Dengler announced that, in accordance with the vote taken at the December General Meeting, he has appointed Mr. Eli Aguirre, N6XPG, to fill the position of Secretary effective immediately.
2. Howard Brown, KG6GI presented a series of database listings for the review and/approval of the initial repeater data submission to ARRL. The board decided which repeaters were to be included in the ARRL repeater book, after several hours of detailed discussion, the board approved the listings for submission (See Attachment B for summary of decisions).
3. The board requested that Mr. Bob Dengler NO6B, Chairman, contact Brennan Price N4QX, field and regulatory correspondent of the American Radio Relay League, with a notification letter providing the License Agreement form and Request form for complimentary 2002-2003 ARRL repeater directories.

Unscheduled Items:

1. One of the issues discussed at the meeting indicated the lack of communication with NARCC. In some cases of repeaters close to the border line territory with TASMA/NARCC it is difficult for the applicant to proceed to the necessary steps of getting coordination with TASMA, i.e. 146.730 in Mammoth mountain which its coordinates show the proximity of both territories.
2. Mr. Ted Fukushima N6ZZK presented to the board committee a list of five motions for the members to review and for the probability of support by the present board committee members. Unfortunately, due to the lack of time, the Board decided to postpone those very important issues to a subsequent meeting.
3. Ted proposed that "The TASMA Board directs the TASMA Chairman to report the exact dates, times and address locations of all regularly scheduled proposed Board, Technical Committee and General Membership meetings for calendar year 2002.

The report must be made within two weeks of the passing of this motion. The report can be made either in person, by phone and/or TASMA e-mail reflector. Motion was seconded by; Pat Finke KC6ACL, Eli Aguirre N6XPG, 3 in favor 0 against.

The meeting was adjourned at 6:00 PM.
