Reference: Agenda For Meeting

All amateurs who had scheduled business before the technical committee were notified of the meeting by e-mail, or regular mail.

The people attending the meeting initially convened at the scheduled meeting place (General Services Building for the County of San Bernardino, after the TASMA General Meeting), but due to the time, it was agreed to change the venue to a close by restaurant.

TASMA Chairman, Bob Dengler, acted as facilitator for this meeting.

  1. The meeting started at 2:32pm.
  2. The agenda was agreed as published.
  3. The Minutes for the 17 November 2001 T.C. meeting were approved without changes by a vote of 4-0 (motion by Howard (KG6GI) and second by Alex (WB6DTR)).
  4. WA6NRB (147.120+) Verdugo Peak. According to the certified mail’s return receipt, WA6NRB received the 60 days off-the-air notification in September 4; and did not responded to the notification within the 60 days. However, we have noted the system back on the air, but apparently at a different location. Therefore, it was agreed to send another letter giving WA6NRB another 60 days to submit an updated RFC; because, it is not operating from its coordinated location and because the off-the-air period, we want a full RFC. This motion was approved in vote of 4-0 (motion by Mike (KF6RQV) and second by Alex (WB6DTR)).
  5. WA6MPU (147.015+) Pine Cove. All our attempts to contact WA6MPU have failed. We have send two certified mail to different addresses and both were returned undeliverable. On a vote of 4-0, it was agreed to terminate this coordination (motion by Alex (WB6DTR) and second by Mike (KF6RQV)).
  6. WA6MPV (147.015+) Santiago Peak. According to the certified mail’s return receipt, WA6MPU received the 60 days off-the-air notification in August 29; and have not responded to the notification. On a vote of 4-0, it was agreed to terminate this coordination (motion by Howard (KG6GI) and second by Alex (WB6DTR)).
  7. K6YYJ (146.970-) Trona. On a vote of 4-0, it was agreed to accept the RFC updating the call sign from WB6LYB to K6YYJ (motion by Howard (KG6GI) and second by Alex (WB6DTR)).
  8. New Business:
    • W6LQ (147.030+) Bel Air. A search of the TASMA records confirmed that W6LQ is on the name of the Bel-Air Radio Association. Therefore, we will notify David Ditlow (K6LDO) that we need an updated RFC, to affect the trustee change requested during our last meeting (motion by Mike (KF6RQV) and second by Alex (WB6DTR)).

  9. The meeting adjournment at 3:08pm by a 4-0 vote (motion by Howard (KG6GI) and second by Alex (WB6DTR)).
