Minutes of the Technical Committee Meeting of March 14, 2000

Meeting called to Order by Allan Avnet, AB8AA, Tech Committee Chairman at 7:14 p.m.

1. The RFC for the change of 147.885- from WA6MTZ to WA6TST was discussed. The Tech. Committee Secretary is to write and ask for copies of the site permit a map showing the coverage area, and the necessary signed documents.
2. RFC for W6JTB on 146.655- was discussed. KF6ILA moved to put him on a one-year test, but it failed for lack of a second.
3. Update to 147.810-, call-sign change from AB6UB to AB8AA.
4. Tech Committee members were asked to start checking on-the-air repeaters.
5. The Hang-gliding subject was tabled until the next meeting.
